SDR Living forms part of SDR Group, a privately owned housing and social care provider in Sussex.
SDR Living is the leading provider of emergency accommodation for Local Authorities across East Sussex.
Our team of 25 oversee a portfolio of 140 flats and rooms in Hastings and Eastbourne which are supplied to Local Authorities to provide short term housing solutions to homeless people. Residents are supported by mental health trained onsite staff 24/7, benefitting those with multiple and complex needs.

Throughout the company we have a strong ethical approach to how we do business and pride ourselves on trying to make the lives of our clients and residents easier.
We focus on developing our people, delivering social value from our operations and engaging with like-minded organisations. SDR Living’s approach and desire to improve the standard of emergency accommodation within the UK has led to working with partners to develop a “Temporary Accommodation Charter” setting minimum standards of provision.
We have an excellent relationship with third-sector and charity organisations in the homeless sector and have implemented a number of initiatives to improve signposting support, job prospects, health and future opportunities for residents to maintain their own tenancy.
We also work closely with Local Authorities to design bespoke solutions in partnership to meet their needs. This enables our local authority clients to have confidence that they receive the best in class, fully managed accommodation for their residents, whilst ensuring value for money.
